The main objective
of the Program for the Conservation of
Mexican Bats (Programa para la Conservacion
de los Murcielagos de Mexico, PCMM) is
the recovery and conservation of the habitat
and the bat populations that inhabit Mexico.
As
part of its strategy, we have developed
a methodology that has been applied successfully
for 15 years in 9 priority caves and 39
communities all over Mexico, and has been
used as a model for the development of
other Bat conservation Programs in several
Latin American Countries (RELCOM).
